This Quick Start guide will help you build an Accordion page for your RapidWeaver Web site. This will show you how to add an Accordion page and add rich text content to your accordion. If you haven't already installed Accordion, then see the Installation guide before you start this tutorial.

  1. Open RapidWeaver and add a new page by clicking the + button.
Accordion is a page style plugin that is accessed by adding a new page to your Web site. The + button is located in the lower left corner, below the list of pages on your site.
  2. Choose Accordion from the list and click the Add button.
You now have an Accordion page in your RapidWeaver Web site. The Accordion edit window appears and shows three main groups: a list of accordion items (now empty), a text entry area where you will enter content, and on the right, the all the settings that you can use to configure your accordion.
  3. Click the + button.
The + button is just below the lower left corner of the list of accordion items. This adds a new accordion item.
  4. Add a title.
Click in the Title field and add a title for your first item.
  5. Add some text.
Click in the large text area at the bottom of the window and enter some text. Like this: "Say Hello to Accordion!"
  6. Style your text.
Use your mouse to select the text. Use the options in the Format menu to choose a new style for your text. Make it bigger and add some color.
  7. Add an image.
Drag an image from the finder into the text area.
  8. Adjust your image.
Double click on the image to bring up the Media Inspector. Use the Media Inspector to adjust the size and style of your image.
  9. Repeat.
Add a few more items to fill out your accordion content.
  10. Click the Preview button at the top of the RapidWeaver window.
Preview your site to see how it looks.
  11. Click the Publish button at the top of the RapidWeaver window.
Publish your site and you're done!
