Registering Kwix

Registration

Kwix is shareware that requires registration. Registering allows any number of Kwix items. To register Kwix, you need to purchase a registration number through the YourHead Web store and enter it into Kwix. This will unlock the Kwix demo

1. Click on the Store link at the top of this page.
2. Follow the online steps to complete the secure purchase.
   We can accommodate many forms of payment and many currencies from around the world. If you have trouble using their payment system, contact us and we can try to make other arrangements.
3. An email will be sent to you.
   We will confirm the payment and then send you an email. Often this email is sent in just a few minutes, but depending on the payment type, it can take up to 24 hours. The confirmation email contains your serial number. Keep this email in a safe place. If you reinstall RapidWeaver or Kwix, you may need it again.
4. Copy the registration code from your email software.
   The registration code is a few lines down the page. It looks like this:
   Serial Number: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
   Except the x's will be the numbers of your registration code. Select your code and choose Copy from the Edit menu.
5. Open RapidWeaver.
   If RapidWeaver is already open, just open a new RapidWeaver document by choosing New from the File menu or open a RapidWeaver document that you've already created.
6. Create a new Kwix page.
   Click the + button to add a new page, choose Kwix from the list, and click the Add button. Alternatively, you can open an Kwix page that you've already created.
7. Click on the Buy Now button.
   The Buy Now button is near the bottom of the window on the right side.
8. Paste in your registration code.
   Choose Paste from the Edit menu. You can also type in your registration code by hand. Make sure to type the code exactly as it is in the email. If all goes well, a confirmation should appear right below the registration code that reads, "Status: Registration code accepted." Quit RapidWeaver to ensure that the code is written to the RapidWeaver preferences.
